Randolph Park Rays

About our League

Randolph Park (RDP) competes in the North Jersey Regional Lake League (NJRLL)

• There are nine (9) teams in our league
• Most of the lakes are 25 meters
• About half of the meets are at home, and the rest are away (at other lakes!
• Swimmers can swim up to 4 events/relays per meet

Important!

Please let us know if your child is unable to attend a meet via the SwimTopia app. A lot of planning goes into a meet. 

Parent participation is required for each dual meet – volunteering for various tasks in order for the meet to run. We use Signup Genius for this.

What to Expect

Events are broken up into age groups (May 31st age-up):

• 8 & Under
• 9/10
• 11/12
• 13/14
• 15-18

Each age group swims age-appropriate races:

• 8 & Under
  • 25m for all four strokes (Free, Breast, Back, and Fly) 
  • 100M Mixed (boys + girls) Free relay
• 9/10
  • 50m Free
  • 25m for Breast, Back, and Fly
  • 100m IM
  • 100M Mixed (boys + girls) Medley relay
• 11/12
  • 50m for all strokes
  • 100m IM
  • 100m Medley relay
• 13/14
  • 50m for all strokes
  • 100m IM
  • 100m Medley relay
• 15-18
  • 100m Free
  • 50m for Breast, Back, and Fly
  • 200m IM
  • 200m Free relay
• 10-18
  • 200m Step-up Free Relay – one swimmer from each age group (10/11, 11/12, 13/14, 15-18) swims 50m
